Amelia Green

Co-President of the Cornell University Chapter

Amelia Green is a junior at Cornell University studying hotel administration with a minor in sustainable business and economic policy and a concentration in finance, accounting, and real estate.  Last summer, she worked as a Launch Intern at EY rotating through their tax, audit, and consulting service lines. Next summer, she will be joining KKR in the Client and Partner Group. 

She has also participated in the Blackstone Diverse Leaders Series and the Morgan Stanley Early Insights Program. In her free time, Amelia enjoys cooking, reading, and exploring Ithaca’s gorges.

Xavier DaCosta

Xavier DaCosta is a junior at Cornell University studying Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. Last summer, he worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Morgan Stanley within their Technology group. Next summer, he will be joining Ares Management as a Private Equity Summer Analyst. 

During his free time, Xavier enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with friends and family.

Barry Adames

Co-Vice President of Education

Barry Adames is a junior at Cornell University studying Applied Economics and Management with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship. This past summer, he worked as an Private Equity Summer Analyst at YSAI, LLC. 

Outside of BlackGen Capital, Barry is a committee lead for a Business Ethics Club and is a member of Cornell Finance Club and a KKR Accelerator Mentor. In his free time he enjoys tailoring clothes, watching and playing basketball, and listening to music​

Rachel Juliet Alvitres

Vice President of  Recruitment

Rachel Juliet Alvitres is from Union City, New Jersey. She is a junior at Cornell University studying Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in Finance. During her sophomore summer she was a Global Corporate Banking fellow at J.P. Morgan.

This upcoming summer, she is excited to return to J.P. Morgan as a Global Corporate Banking Summer Analyst. In her free time, Rachel enjoys dancing, horseback riding and spending time with friends and family.

Oluwasola Ogundare is a sophomore at Cornell University studying Operations Research and Computer Science. Last summer, he externed at Citadel Securities and did a part-time internship with a startup, Indicator Lab Inc., as a junior risk analyst. 


Next summer, he will be joining Morgan Stanley as a fixed income quant strats intern. During his free time, Olu enjoys running, meditating, and reading philosophy books.

Sanaalee Troupe

Vice President of Public Relations

Sanaalee Troupe is a sophomore at Cornell University studying Industrial Labor & Relations pursuing minors in Applied Economics, Information Science, and Law & Society. Outside of BlackGen, she serves as the Chair of Membership for Big Red Ambassadors and is an active member of Society of Women in Business, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, and Cornell Data Journal. This summer, Sanaalee interned for Hunter Creek, a private equity firm as an Investment Analyst. In her free time, she enjoys designing/creating clothing, collecting watches, hiking nature trails, and skiing.

Mateo Rojas is a freshman from Princeton, New Jersey, studying Applied Economics and Management with an anticipated concentration in Finance and Accounting. In the spring, he looks forward to participating in the Guggenheim Freshman Day on the Job.

Jamal Matthew

Vice President of Finance

Jamal is a sophomore from Brooklyn, New York, majoring in Economics and Information Science within the College of Arts & Sciences with a minor in Business. This past summer, Jamal worked at Balyasny Asset Management as an Equity Research Associate Intern. He has also participated in programs like the Carlyle Collegiate Series Program and BNY Mellon’s Freshman Jumpstart. 

Next summer, he will be working as a Rotational Summer Analyst at Jefferies. In his free time, Jamal enjoys traveling, watching F1 Racing, and trying new restaurants with friends.
