What Members Say
I’d say that it was an amazing experience getting to learn from and grow with so many likeminded individuals. BlackGen offered me the opportunity to grow my network of diverse professionals - many of which I still see on Wall Street today! Also, the education series was directly applicable to many of my workplace projects and made me feel comfortable knowing I had a great technical foundation

BlackGen played an important role in my recruitment process. The organization created a culture where members supported one another throughout recruiting. Senior members were always willing to help out and share advice from their own interview experiences. Among my peers, there was a strong sense of collaboration, and we frequently ran mock interviews together, which was extremely helpful in preparing for interviews.

BlackGen has been an incredible source of mentorship, opportunity, and community throughout my college experience. Through peer guidance, on-campus networking sessions, and a strong national network, the organization helped me navigate recruiting and connect with industry professionals who once stood in my shoes. BlackGen’s collaborative culture pushes members to succeed while ensuring no one has to navigate their finance journey alone.

To me, BlackGen has expanded my financial knowledge and skill set while giving me a place to apply the concepts I learned in the education series through our final stock pitch projects. Through this experience, I have developed stronger analytical thinking, financial modeling, and the ability to communicate investment ideas clearly. Working alongside peers who share a passion for finance and push me to think more critically about investment strategies.
